WHO Black males are murdered more than any other ethnic group in the United States. Every day in America, nearly 30 Black males lose their lives to gun violence, and the probability of their perpetrator being another Black male is 90% or higher.

Hosea 4:6 "My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge.”

WHAT Homicide is the number one cause of death for Black males ages one to 44 and the second leading cause for Black females ages one to 19. Unfortunately, in most cases, Black males are overwhelmingly responsible for murder, the number two cause of death for Black females ages one to 19.

Romans 8:13 " If you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the spirit you put to death the deeds of the body you will live."

WHEN: From 1950 to 2019, nearly 450,000 Black males were murdered in the United States. To put this death rate in context, about 300,000 Americans were killed in combat during World War II.

John 6:23 " For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

WHERE: This violence is prone to occur in communities where African Americans are often the majority.

Amos 4:10 " I sent plagues among you as I did to Egypt. I killed your young men with the sword, along with your captured horses. I filled your nostrils with the stench of your camps, yet you have not returned to me," declares the LORD.

HOW: The criminal behavior in Black neighborhoods and communities is rooted in four core factors contributing to the disparity of homicide rate among Black males. 1) Erosion of moral values and social choices; 2) The high school dropout rates of Black males; 3) The demise of Black-owned

and operated businesses owned within Black neighborhoods. 4) Environmental determinants are created from the three core factors above.

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
